Celebrate Your Success

“The more you celebrate your life,” Oprah Winfrey once said, “the more there is to celebrate.”

Rather than waiting for a holiday or a major milestone, actively seek out things to celebrate. Instead of focusing on all of the things you still have to accomplish, spend some time thinking about the things you have already accomplished or the things that are going well in your life. Celebrate your small wins. Celebrate your big wins. Celebrate the wins of others. You’d be surprised how much there is to celebrate if you just look for it.

Today, take a moment to self-reflect: What can you celebrate?

If you’re struggling to come up with something, think about the many big and small successes you’ve had and all you’ve accomplished over the past 13 weeks:

      • Performing workouts: taking a quick walk, a fitness class or a strength workout — every minute spent exercising and every rep completed has made you stronger and healthier
      • Getting more daily movement: standing up and moving more throughout your day, increasing your NEAT movement, performing a midday stretch or walking after meals
      • Improving your mindset: disputing negative thoughts, telling yourself you can, having the courage to try something new, using positive affirmations and embracing your best self
      • Listening to guided meditations: taking time to slow down, breathe, re-center and destress by using meditations or calming strategies
      • Eating healthier: drinking more water, incorporating more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, healthy fats and lean meats into your diets, and decreasing the amount of processed foods consumed
      • Connecting with others: encouraging, motivating and working alongside your teammates, family members and friends, sending a quick note of gratitude or sharing what you’ve learned with others
      • Being consistent with your efforts: making it a point to include the above habits on a weekly basis

Big or small, there is always something to celebrate. Give yourself an enormous pat on the back, and know we’re proud of everything you’ve accomplished.

Help us celebrate YOU by sharing your success with us.
